ARIS carried out the general overhaul, adaptation and modernization of the VBR NBC reconnaissance armored car to improve its operations, performance, security, reliability and ease of use.
ARIS designed and implemented the modernization with the repowering of the VBR NBC armored car, choosing and installing a new powerful turbo diesel engine, a new transmission and cooling unit, a new brake system, upgrading the sprinkler system and changing the axles in order to install new wheels, interchangeable with the Centauro vehicle.
